WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY- Galatians

The Epistle to the Galatians is the ninth book of the New Testament.  Inspired by the Holy Spirit, it was written by the Apostle Paul to a number of early Christian communities in the Province of Galatia.

It was the clear distinction of the Gospel of Christ in contrast to the divine Law which was instrumental in shaping the life and teaching of Martin Luther.  It was from Bible letters like Galatians and Romans that gave rise to the strength of the Lutheran Reformation.

A study of Galatians is therefore especially fitting as we continue our focus on the Reformation movement.

Pastor Reed is exploring the Book of Galatians in the class that meets every Wednesday. Join with fellow learners in the Great Room, 9:30-10:30 AM. You are welcome to attend.

SERVE THE LORD WITH GLADNESS (Eph. 6:7)

IMMANUEL CARES!
More than a catchy slogan or an eye-catching banner hanging in the Great Room hallway. Each individual has a role in caring for one another.

But we are not alone in this: Immanuel, Himself, leads us. We get support from others as we work on boards, committees, in organizations and school-related groups, prayer chains, and so much more. As a member of the body of Christ, what will you do to be the eyes, ears, feet, mouthpiece, etc as you seek to fulfill your role as God’s chosen child?

On Easter Sunday the OWLs hosted their annual breakfast in the Great Room. A big thanks to all who contributed to making this a successful and joyous event. Here are a few pix showing families enjoying the food and fellowship as they reflected on the Good News of the Risen Savior.
