Welcome to Immanuel Lutheran Church

Thank you for visiting the website of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing, Michigan. Immanuel Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Lutheran Church -- Missouri Synod. This year is the 166th anniversary of Immanuel where God's Word and Sacrament has been shared and celebrated in the life of this congregation.   Upcoming/Informational Events

Immanuel worship services are now all back in the sanctuary. What a joy and a blessing it is to have the opportunity to worship our Lord together. We look forward to seeing more of you in worship in the coming weeks. Please note the sanctuary will be cleaned well before the 8 am service on Sunday and again on Mondy before Monday night worship. There will be no cleaning done between Sunday services. Please keep this in mind as you decide which service you choose to attend.
Dear Friends, Six months ago (mid-January) a drive was started to collect baby items for Layette Kits for
Orphan Grain Train (OGT). Because of your generous response, 50 Layette Kits were completed and
packed into boxes for OGT shipping. Many, many thanks for the many beautiful (and homemade) items given. Please
note we will not be collecting school supplies this season
. Thanks to everyone who supports efforts sponsored
by LWML.

.....We are excited to share with you a new way of giving to the church - Give Plus Church.

 What We Believe!

Immanuel Lutheran Church
is a congregation of The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod
Our mission statement is:
Faithful to God’s Word – we receive, celebrate, and share Jesus Christ.
Faithful to God's Word
We believe that the Holy Scriptures are God's infallible Word which reveals Jesus Christ, who is the only Savior for all people. Every teaching, belief, and practice of Immanuel congregation must be grounded in this perfect Word and faithful to His revealed will.
We receive...Jesus Christ
We are always on the receiving end of God's goodness and grace. Since all people are born in sin and would be lost forever unless redeemed by God in Jesus Christ we could never give anything to God in order to earn His favor or the promise of His heaven. God loved the world so much that He gave His Son to die for us. He gave...we received.
Every Sunday God gives us His gifts of Word and Sacrament in the Divine Service. We receive God's unmerited love and forgiveness in Jesus Christ in the sure and certain promise of eternal life.
We celebrate...Jesus Christ
God's goodness and mercy leads us to give Him thanks and praise. We celebrate God's goodness in corporate worship and in lives of service to God and our neighbors.
We share...Jesus Christ
The good news of God's love in Christ is too good to keep to ourselves. What God has done must be shared through our personal witness and by the support of mission work throughout the world
