...age 75, of Sebewaing, entered into life eternal on May 20, 2023.

Margit was born September 1, 1947, in Nuremberg, Germany to Johann and Emilie (Stoekl) Balk. Her family moved to Saginaw, Michigan when she was 5 years old. Then they moved to Sebewaing when her parents purchased a bakery. She worked for Balk’s Bakery while she was in school. She graduated from Sebewaing High School in 1967. She married John Dyer at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing on November 16, 1968. He preceded her in death on February 11, 2015. She was the co-owner of Dyer Plumbing and Heating and retired as a manager at Walmart. She enjoyed being a member of the Sebewaing American Legion Auxiliary, being outside, going to their cabins, Thursday lunches and dinners with her friends at Applebee’s, driving, shopping, yard work, flower gardening, riding motor cycle with John, being with her grandchildren and loved her dog, Abby.

Margit is survived by her 2 sons: Brian (Nicole) Dyer and Michael (fiancé Katie Stein) Dyer; grandchildren: Weiland, Garrison, JayDee, Sean, Jeffrey and Olivia Jean Dyer; niece, Tina (Jeremy) Hartwick, and nephew Steven (Dawn) Taylor.

Margit is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Jeffrey Dyer; sister Ursula Taylor; grandson Ethan Dyer; and nephew Troy Taylor.

MEMORIALS: may be given to Sebewaing American Legion, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Immanuel Lutheran Church or Christ the King Lutheran School.
